  1. Unless you've specified longer, I think Mozilla Firefox defaults to storing the last 9 days of browsing history, and Internet Explorer defaults to 20 days.

  2. It depends what you set for internet history and cache size (internet files) in your browser (for example in IE: Tools, Internet Options, Browsing History, Settings).  If you have visited the site since then, older files may have been replaced with newer files, but if you set your history long enough, links to the sites may still be there if you start to type them into the browser location bar.  My browser history is set for 20 days, so I can easily bring up sites I visited in almost the past 3 weeks.

After I helped configure internet for my sister's friend, her 10 and 12 year old sons initially visited sites for computer games.  But later when some sites they should not have been on showed up in the location bar drop down list, my sister told her how to check browser history.  The boys said they accidently stumbled on those sites, but browser history showed they spend hours there.  So the friend curtailed her boy's internet use unless she was there.

  3. no, i dont think you can, soz!!
