Can i transfer my housing from one state to another?

i live in the bpt pt barnum apartments and i am trying to find out if i can move to another housing apartment in a different state.

  1. Yes you can with some buts.

    Your benefits will change.

    There may be no units in your new area.

    Example: I no longer do section 8.

    To many problems.

    To much fraud from renters.

    Girlfriend gets it and moves in drug dealing boyfriend.

    I evict, they lose their housing and are mad.

    I see people on housing living better then me, BIG tvs, top of the line cars and I pay for it.

    So, yes you can live off us taxpayers in another State.

  3. .  If your benefits originated with a state or county department, it won't transfer.  Federal benefits can transfer if you notify them of your move in advance.
