Can i transfer to ucr?!!?

Question

im currently about to attend mt sac college, but i wanted to attend a university because mt. sac classes are always full and i dont want to be there for like 3 years. i couldnt get into a uc because of my high school grades. is there any way that i can transfer to a uc or csu after my first semester at mt. sac? im a really smart person, i just didnt take academics very seriously until my senior year.
