  1. On a plane they generally want photo ID...so if its a new photo licence then fine, but if its an old paper one, then you may need your passport....check out the airlines website FAQ'S they usually answer questions like this.

  2. yep, your licence is valid everywhere, even in the us.

some counties require some supporting documents but your lice is also a valid id document as well.

  3. Only if its not a fake.

  4. Yes, your driving license is sufficient i.d. to travel from the United Kingdom to the Republic of Ireland, by car ferry at least. I'm not certain whether a driver's license is accepted on a plane, but my understanding is that anywhere within the EU it would count, as a passport is not required for travel between EU countries, but any form of transport that leaves the UK requires that you show valid photographic i.d. for security reasons.

This is assuming that you have a license with your photograph on.

  5. if you watched that airline programme easy jet require a passport so I would assume most airlines would but why not ring the airline and ask

  6. you will not get far on your driving licence, you will be better going by car, bus, train, plane etc,as if you tread on your licence it will not move,so the answer is no you cannot travel from England to Ireland on your driving licence

  7. Why not use the ferry like normal people?

  8. You do not need a passport to enter Eire if you are a UK citizen. Your driving licence is valid. Ryan air get a bit akward if you are flying with them, but they are a bunch of b------ anyway .

  9. You can travel anywhere in Europe, including Ireland on your UK license. But I´d take your car on a ship to Ireland as it may prove difficult otherwise :)
