  1. Far as i know u can with Ryanair anyway. Check the airlines website and it should tell u :)

  2. Yes you are entitled to make this journey without a Passport but check the terms & conditions of the Airline or Ferry company you are using as they will have specific ID requirements to use their service.

  3. Not directly. when i went you needed a passport or a full driving licence. You could fly to belfast then travel down to avoid this.

  4. yes u can or come and see northern ireland first then just drive down it only takes about 2hrs belfast to dublin

  5. you can go directly to dublin!

you do not need to go via Belfast! As long as you have proof of ID, you'll be fine! :)

  6. With legal immigration trying to get to Ireland through UK passports are now always checked. I don't think the provisional licence (if you have a full licence you would have a better chance)  will do but call the airline and they will tell you. It very's from airline to airline so you may get lucky. But at this time of year security is very high.

  7. you can travel from uk to Belfast with just a driving license or ID card, then drive down to Dublin.

To go from UK to Dublin is going to a different country, whereas Belfast is the uk, so you need a passport!

  8. You go from mainland UK directly to ROI without a passport or go via Northern Ireland.

  9. Yes you can do that, so long as you have a valid ID you don't need a passport. I've travelled between Ireland and the UK with just a valid driver's licence many times.

  10. possibly, i know you can get from Dublin to UK without a passport but getting back again can be a bit of a problem, the british airports seem a bit stricter on such things

  11. You can travel from the UK to Dublin without a passport.  Your driving licence or other id with photograph will do.

  12. as far as i know you can by ferry anyway, probably aeroplane too!
