Can i travel out of the country with and expired passport.?

my passport expired but i have a cerificate that says that im i citezen here.

  1. No it will have to be renewed, but you can do this without paying for all the same fee's just go to the post office and let them know you have the book still and just apply for a new passport.

  2. In short... NO.

    You won't get passed "boarding" (or the checkpoint - in the case of driving) without a valid passport.  To board a plane or ship, you must have a valid passport -- invariably with at least six months left on it before it expires.  Passports are called "travel documents" for a very good reason.  You need a valid one to travel internationally.

    And even IF you managed (by some miracle) to get out of the country, you won't get passed Immigration when you try to enter a country.  No valid passport, that country's Immigration will stick you on the first available flight back to where you came from (or their nearest "territorial" port).

  3. No. It needs to be good for at least the next 6 months to exit the country.

  4. NO you can't travel with your expired passport , but you can renew it.  Prices and time you need to wait for your passports are on the government website.
