  1. Those are all good for the day. I wouldn't use more then 2 plugs while trolling though,(unless you have a down rigger) I like have 2 or 3 on top at different distances back. And one plug, i wouldn't put a plug on an out rigger. ( just a little FYI incase you didn't already know that)

For trolling at night. i wouldn't waste your time. bottom fish at night is your best bet. Unless you are out sword fishing.

And finally it all depends on were you live, Check out Florida Sportsman if you are in Florida, lots of good tips on there.

  2. You obviously can troll them at night, whether is is safe or not (you troll those baits at durn near a cruising speed or at least 14-15 or more knots)is another question, remember, wahoo fishing is best near flotsam (old logs, weed lines, etc...) and high speed trolling around those at night might not be the brightest or most practical thing to do.  I would chunk or cast for tuna, or drift for swordfish or bottom fish.  For tuna trolling get you some meany greenies, cedar plugs, and any number of skirted lures and use as lightest flourocarbon leaders as you can get by with.  For bonita, any feathered trolling lure works if it is small enough for them to get into their mouths.  Grouper....live bait on the bottom, diamond jigs, big jigs, etc...and some of those lures you named above over rock piles in 50 ft water (better in spring or fall that shallow).. Any high speed trolling lure on a cable or wire leader is good for wahoo, at least that is my experience, down riggers, plainers, and "z" wings are good too to get some baits down.  You should either troll for tuna or wahoo, the leaders required are at the opposite ends of "tooth safeness" which you really need for wahoo, and you won't get a bite from a leader shy YFT on a leader that would hold up to the dentures in a wahoo.  Good luck.
