Can i trust eBay when buying subwoofers and amps?

i want to know if it is safe. will i get the product i want? what would be some pros and cons?

Just to add to that, I like to look at how sellers respond to negative feedback from buyers.  Do they maintain a professional demeanor?  OR do they unload a tirade and insult the buyer?  I stay away from those kind!

EVERY business makes mistakes sooner or later.  I'm interested in how they RESOLVE their mistakes.

Ebay is a very trusting site. If you buy something, and the seller does not send it, ebay will contact the seller, and if he does not respond you will get a full refund. or if you get the wrong product, you can send it back and get a refund as well.

pros: simple, cheap, money back garuntee, scam proof.

cons: can't demo the speakers, used items can sometimes have flaws not seen in pictures.

Its the seller you have to trust, not E-Bay.  I would use paypal to pay for the item.  Research what you are buying and read reviews on the seller.  If they have low feedback or bad feedback be careful.  If they have a 100% positive feedback and a high level of transactions then you should be fine.  Read what other buyers are saying about the seller!
