  1. It might be good to do some shopping on your own in a pet store. There you can see all the cages the store has to offer in the price range you want to pay.

  2. I'd first try to see if a local pet store has the cage you're interested in to make sure it's the right size and it's really what you want.  Sometimes the cage in the picture seems smaller or larger than what you expected.

That being said Petguys.com has really good reviews.  I found this merchant review site online and people had very good things to say about them.  As a dealer, I think you're reasonably safe.  Just make sure you give them a "virtual credit card number" (I know Citi has that), to avoid any possible mishaps.  I'd also read through any negative reviews to get an idea if there's reoccurring problems (order arrives late, they charged too much, etc).

    Hope that helps!

  3. I would recommend that you go to a pet store in your area, so you can actually see the size of the cage. You need space so that your hamster can run around in. An internet picture is often not enough visual aid to see how much space your hamster will have.

The advantage to going to a pet store is that they often have a model already set up, so you can open the doors to see how everything works.

    Hope this helped!
