Recently i got a flyer in the mail from a company called warrior custom golf. It was for a free hybrid wpus 20 bucks shipping and handeling. My mom thought it was a good deal and since my birthday is coming up she was very interested in getting it as a present for me. (cuz its only 20 bucks lol) When she called to order i wasnt sure if it was worth it. Has anyone heard of warrior golf or own one of their clubs? You can check it out at http://www.warriorcustomgolf.com/hybrids.html

Thanks

  1. yes, yo momma's always right

  2. a couple of guys at the local course here has warrior clubs.  They custom make the clubs for your fit.  So for that its worth if, if you have hard to size needs.  The clubs seem to be pretty decent.

I say its worth a shot.

  3. no

  4. A friend of mine bought a set of those Warrior golf clubs.  I know they were very cheap.  I hit them a couple of times.  The irons were actually OK, I hit them fairly well but they had absolutely no feedback.  I was not pleased with the driver he had, it wasn't very easy to hit well.   Overall, I think a beginner could learn the game with these clubs.  A pro could make Warrior clubs look very good.   Despite what the commercials will say, the basic fundamentals of golf club design have not changed significantly in the last 50 or 60 years.  However, the materials and the methods of construction have vastly improved.   That is really what separates expensive clubs from cheap ones.  But at the end of the day, I just didn't get a good feeling about the Warrior clubs.   I would really recommend a set of clubs from a trusted manufacturer with a good reputation.   Personally I think Wilson makes the best low-end golf clubs for the beginner.

  5. They will make her unbelievable offers to get her to buy more clubs, they are relentless. Some of the clubs are ok but they will not stop calling and bothering you. Its not worth the trouble.

  6. No, stay away from them. They are trouble. Clubs are probably junk, too. Don't bother.
