i'm tryin to lose weight, so i'm eating lots of frozen veggies. i know they're not quite as good for you as fresh, but they're a lot cheaper, and i'm a single mom on a tight budget. I buy stuff in bulk, cuz as you may know, it's hard taking a little boy to the grocery store.

i was wondering if i set the temp to the coldest if it would be okay for the frozen veggies. i don't really have much else in my fridge.....

it would be wonderful if i could put my fridge stuff in the freezer and vice versa lol.

but i don't think that would work.

i know this is kinda a stupid question, but i figured i'd ask. any advice or suggestions is appreciated.

  1. I understand what you're trying to achieve but no. Sadly a frig will not come close to the temps in your freezer. Also the freezer gets that cold to hold out bacteria as long as possible. I'm afraid if you tried the same in the frig you might give yourself a very bad stomach ache. I would try purchasing a small box freezer, almost the size kids use in their college dorms. Best of luck on your weight loss!

  2. yah, turn up the cold on your thermistate.

  3. Look on freecycle for a deep freeze or another fridge you can keep in your garage and stuff the freezer section full of your frozen veggies.  Maybe you can use a spare cooler...I'm just trying to suggest some things for you because I don't think the fridge thing is going to work so well.

    Good luck though!!
