Can i turn off the dishwasher after it's already on??!! HELP!!?

please, i need an answer fast, how can i turn off the dishwasher after it's already on, without living water inside the dishwasher????? please help me fast

lol. On mine I push in the handle without opening the door.

Hit the cancel button. If this leaves water, open the dishwasher door (no water will come out) & then hit the cancel button again & close & it will drain the water.
