  1. Get the latest drivers using device manager, then insert your disk (avalible at www.pcworld.co.uk search in the to right corner for it)

    and tap install now.

Or insert at boot make sure you BIOS configuration is set to boot from the optical drive first, then select your partition and sit back and let it install.

  2. Hi Mitchel,

If your comp came with windowsME, it should be barely sufficient to run XP. I'm guessing its a P-III abt 600-800mhz, 20GB drive & 128MB RAM. If those are your specifications, you are much better without XP. If you'd still like to go for an upgrade to XP, its available on a lot of sites.. Amazon.com has it & you can get an upgrade for abt $100.. Or you could use torrents/Rapidshare.com to find cracked versions of XP...

  3. windows millennium noooooooooooooooooooooo poor u

  4. As Colinc, but be quick as Microsoft are stopping sales of XP in favour of Vista soon. PC World should have upgrade disks.

  5. Buy an XP upgrade disk. Run the installer and it will do the rest.
