  1. use in the summer and go to a lighter viscosity in the winter

  2. That thicker oil may lower your fuel economy. It starts thicker and becomes more thick when it heats up.  Use the right oil for the car. Oil for motorcycles is specially fomulated for them and not for cars. The 20w50 might place undue stress on the oil pump in the car.

  3. it depends on how long you want the motor in your car to last..no

  4. no, The oil is too thick.  since the oil is thicker it may not flow properly through the engine.  the oil may be too thick to flow into bearings and may cause catastrophic failure.  motorcycle oil is different than car oil.  car oil has much more additives than more motorcycle oil.  these additive reduce sludge and carbon deposits.  Since the motorcycle does not have these additives it will not last as long as car oil.

  5. yes but i wood go with 15w40

  6. the time you should use a thicker oil is when the weather is really hot. the colder the weather the thinner the oil, because the oils ability to flow is affected by temperature which is why thicker oil is used in engines like motorcycles because they run hotter than your car does. Using 20W in an engine designed for 5W is not really a good idea. if the weather where you are is really hot in summer use 10W-30 instead of 5, unless your car manual says not to.
