Can i use a 25 or 27 tooth front sprocket with a 14 tooth free wheel on my bmx bike?

  1. No way, that will feel terrible. A 25t sprocket should have a 9t driver in the rear, and a 27t should have either a 9 or 10t driver in the rear. A 14t cog in the back with a small sprocket up front will result in you pedaling WAY more than you want to for BMX. Sorry, you will have to purchase a new cassette wheel, there is no other way.
