Can i use a BMX helmet as a snowboard helmet??

You can, but snow helmets have some advantages over BMX or skate helmets.  Snow helmets have ear flaps to keep your ears warm; some even have built-in headphones.  They have mesh over the vents to keep snow from getting in.  They also fit tighter at the neck to keep snow out as well.  Snow helmets are better insulated to keep your head from getting cold.  Snow helmets have goggle retainers to keep your goggles from flying off.

Yeah it just wont be as warm as a proper snowboard helmet. Good luck with the riding.

Check the rating on the helmet....

If its a competition rated helmet it should be OK... always best to check though as bike helmets are usually lower rating to winter sports helmets

yes, i'm sure you can. almost any helmet you could use for snowboarding, but of course, snowboarding helmets are the best to use for snowboarding because it was made specifically for snowboarding. Have fun!
