Question:

Can i use a atv speedometer on this Motorcycle because it has the same size wheels so it think it would fit?

The motorcycle looks like this http://images.overstock.com/f/102/3117/8h/www.overstock.com/images/products/L10142030.jpg and i thought that a atv speedo would work and if not would a regular bicycle meter work?

  1. I bought a $9 bicycle speedo from Wals-Mart to use on both an ATV and a minibike similar to the one you posted.  It will include a set of instructions on how to mount it and how to calibrate it to the size of the wheel you are using.  For the price, you can't beat it.  They typically include speedo/tripmeter, clocks, avg speed and more.  I've had it mounted on my daughter's minibike for over 6 months, and the factory battery is still good.  It powers up whenever there is movement, and shuts off after 5 minutes of sitting still.

    If I were to do this again, I would look for a model that has a backlight, so that I can tell my speed at night.  My model doesn't have that option, but I know of some that do.  Good luck, hope this helps you out!
