Can i use a belkin wireless g router to connect my xbox to live?

That should not be a problem.

You can use any router to connect to xbox live. You should just use the on screen instructions. It should just connect automatically, all you need to do is get the WEP code that you made up  for the router then unblock the xbox when its trying to connect to your computer
