Can i use a dog cage for my rabbits cage?

well a rabbit needs a hutch with bedding etc. the hutch be as natural as possible for your rabbit

No. Rabbits need RABBIT cages. Dog KENNELs are not cages, and should not be used as one. Go to www.feecycle.org and search for your area, join and when your accepted you can search for a free rabbit cage or place a wanted add for one. Or go to your local pet store and buy one.

do you mean like a play pen dog fence? as long as there is no dog in it then yeah, but i fyou are talking about a dog crate then that isnt a sufficient home for a bunny they need much more room.

yes  thats what i do   the buck in one dog crate   the doe and her 4 kits  in the other there only in them at night    they have the run of the house during the day

like a large kennel crate? yes, my friend did that. put a box or something inside though, they love to climb. and also a box, like a litter box filled with bedding or whatever so it doesn't go all over the place. itll be easier for you to clean, trust me

nothing small, a rabbit needs a lot of room, at least 3x2x2 (wxhxl) enough for it to lay down fully sterched out and tall enough for it to stand up

As long as it's secure (can lock and unlock), and large enough for the rabbit to stretch out and stand up in, it should be okay. Make sure it's equipped with everything a regular rabbit cage has - a house (from a box or store-bought shelter) to hide in, food and water, hay, toys, litterbox, etc. If it can hold all those things and a rabbit comfortably, the bunny should be fine. Just make sure it's big enough.
