i bought a dtv converter and i dont know how to use it can i use it now

  1. Most definitely! I think once you get it hooked up you will be amazed at the channels that are out there right now. There are already plenty to chose from. PBS in my area has 12 channels of its own. Then there are the regular channels. There are even some channels not on cable or satellite. The choices are good. I mean there are the PBS movie channels, PBS documentaries, kids, so on....

    Hook it up. They are easy to plug in, hook up like a VCR and you can even use whatever antenna you are using now. All of the ones I have looked at have on screen programing. You don't many more instructions than that. If you are "deficient" in technology you might find a friendly neighbor to hook it up for you. I really think you will like it. Good Luck!


  2. Yes you can.  You just hook one cable from the antenna to the box, one from the box to the tv. Then, you have to set your tv to channel 3 I believe. Now, you grab the new remote that came with your box, and in the instructions there should be a book of codes to set up the new remote with your tv. Do not use your old remote anymore.
