Can i use a dvd rom cd instead of a cd rom to write music from my computer?

  1. Yes. But it won't work on regular cd players in cars. Only on your dvd player at home.


  2. Yes. However you can only play the disc in places where dvds can play... such as  a dvd rom drive or a dvd player.


  3. you would also have to have a DVD RW drive... in order to burn anything to a DVD.  (not a CD burner/RW drive)

    DVD vs CD  ...the only real difference is storage capacity and playback.

    as stated.. a DVD disc you make would not work on car cd players, home stereo or other CD player technology.  Possibly a DVD player hooked up to a TV would play the music... but then.  what's the point.


  4. For backup/storage, yes. For playback in a cd player, no.

  5. You could make an Audio DVD and play it in your Home DVD Player or Car DVD Player. Im sure that would work.

    You couldn't make an Audio DVD and play it in a CD Player though. A CD Player will not read a DVD.
