Can i use a normal wireless router when i have Virgin Media?

I currently have Virgin Media Broadband.. Can i use a Netgear router for a extra computer when my main computer uses a virgin media modem because in the welcome pack i recievedit says they provide one if have the L or XL package but i only have the M package plus i oready have a netgear wireless router so can i just use this?

  1. yes u can i use a simple belkin g54 , even thou i have had my free router of virgin i have not cionnected it as my belkin works fine and i keep the new virgin netgear one for spare

    you could always upgrade to large package for a month claim ya free router then down grade
