Can i use a regular stud earring for a tragus piercing?

would using a regular earring work??

Yeah I did that and it worked fine for me, but I found that the only problem was that when I decided to put a ring/bar back in it, the hole had shrunk to the size of the stud and there was no going back, so I ended up letting it heal over and going through the pain and cost of having it pierced again, and now I'm keeping my ring firmly in place lol! So it should be fine, but only do it if you know you'll only ever want a stud in it again or if you don't mind getting it redone if you change your mind :-)
