  1. u could but i wouldnt work as well

  2. according to WPA  World Pool-Billiard Association.

    17. Cue Sticks

Cue Sticks used at WPA competitions should comply with the following

    during play at table:

Length of Cue: 40 inches [1.016 m] minimum / No Maximum

Weight of Cue: No minimum / 25 oz. [708.75 gm] maximum

Width of Tip: No minimum / 14mm maximum

The cue tip may not be of a material that can scratch or damage the addressed ball. The cue tip on any stick must be composed of a piece of specially processed leather or other fibrous or pliable material that extends the natural line of the shaft end of the cue and contacts the cue ball when the shot is executed..

The ferrule of the cue stick, if of a metal material, may not be more than 1 inch [2.54 cm] in length

  3. Yes i have played with my 6mm snooker cue for ages.

Disadvatage - You dont get that much power on the ball

Advantage - you get better spin and you can cut the ball beter

  4. well yes you can, in fact you may win the match, but it's not recommended cause it's not made for the pool balls, notice the size of the snooker balls....

  5. You can use any form of cue stick you like as long as u are comfortable and can sink a ball with it. There is no restriction as far as i know with cues having to be of certain length or tip size and so on. The whole idea of the game is potting balls :)

  6. I play 15 or 20 games a week with a broom stick so i guess you can but why not use the right equipment

The myth of better english is just that

And if you are used to a small shaft it would "Feel" better but not be as good as a pool stick but to each his own I play snooker with my pool stick and have a John Paris cue I have never shot with  SO---------?

  7. yes you can use a snooker cue on pool and i think that it is better to use a snooker cue in pool as it has got a smaller tip and is also easier to run through fingers and i hate pool cues.

  8. i can't see why not.. a 6 mm?, like the man says, that's really like a toothpick!!..I like an 11 mm., 21 weight.
