Can i use a t-mobile sim card for my unlocked phone?

i have an unlocked phone and have been using at&t. i want to change to t-mobile and keep my same phone number. i also want to use my same phone but the store i went to said i have to get a phone not just a sim card.

so i was planing on getting one of the free phones and just using the sim card on my unlocked sony s500i

would that work?

if your phone is unlocked to work with t-mobile, then yes. i believe it will.

If there is a SIM card slot, i would definitely pop your t-mobile sim card in and give it a shot. If you're not sure, just bring it to a t-mobile kiosk stand at your local mall or somewhere else and have them help you out. The help shouldn't cost anything and it will clear up your cell phone issues.

No problem. I do it all the time. You just have reconfigure the WAP browser, and MMS settings.
