  1. Contact whoever you are getting the boat from to find out:

    1) Does the boat have a 240 volt power supply?

(Some do, but most have 12 volt).

    2) If it does have 240V, will the boat battery supply enough

current for an iron to work normally?

(It might. Thay may need to know the iron's power rating,

which will be on a label on it somewhere).

    3) Does the boat have a space large enough, and something

which you could use as an ironing board?

  2. you can buy a iron what works with a butane gas they are usually bought from a caravan centre,or do it the old way and put the iron on a gas ring,

  3. Most craft have a 240v hook up system, but you`ll have to  check with the hire company,,if not they may have a 12v iron supplied to comply with the 12v system,,

  4. We went to the Norfolk Broads a couple of years ago and the boat certainly had plenty of plug sockets to plug in an iron.  Your problem would be finding something to use as an ironing board.

  5. You can use all your irons to help you stay out of the bunkers and you will have some fine courses to use them on!

Have a great holiday you swinger.

  6. Why do you want to iron clothes on that kind of holiday ? I work on trip barges and the apparel needs to be outdoor type gear which you don't have to iron. You need to use a lifejacket too so wear good quality weather resistant gear, strong gripping footwear and comfortable casual  clothing.

  7. No, using an iron in Norfolk is punishable by death. You must looked creased and crumpled.
