  1. Certainly, and it will suck.

Go buy wine from a store. It's cheaper, safer and better. If you want to learn to make wine or beer, buy a kit. IF you can get THAT to work and if you enjoy it the same company will mail-order you parts and bits for absolutely outrageous home production setups.

But perhaps you can't buy wine from a store because you're underage. In that case, please get off of this forum and come back when you're old enough.

  2. Definitely.  Anything that will accelerate the fermentation process will work.  You get different tastes with different types of yeast, but it will work.

Instead of using bakers yeast though, I found a pretty cool link.

Turbo yeast, you can use it to make pure ethanol in just a couple days.

You may want to look into this one.

  3. Bakers' yeast is bred (pun intended) to produce lots of carbon dioxide and little alcohol. Brewers' and wine yeasts are just the opposite. Use them. Bakers' yeast will give you an off-taste too but I have the feeling that you are not enough of a drinker to notice it.

  4. There are specific yeasts for beer and wine. It is much better to use the correct one of those.  Using the wrong yeast ruins the whole thing.

There are lots of good sites about brewing and wine making.  I suggest you look at some and read through the process several times, so you know what you need to do.  It will help you to get everything ready.

    Happy brewing!
