  1. Debit cards that have a visa/mastercard logo, yes, you can buy things online with them. The difference between a credit card and a debit card is, whatever you buy with your debit card comes directly out of your hard earned money, your checking account. Your bank balance will decrease the moment you use the debit card, so its important to keep track of what comes out accurately. Whatever you use a credit card for comes out of a direct line of credit that you were approved for based on sound credit management. It is important to remember just cause its there doesnt mean you use it. Usually you dont want to go over 33% of what your credit card limit is, atleast not half. The cash card... I would need for information from you to discuss that, unless you mean a prepaid card. If you are young and can get it, its better to get a debit card that is free. If you mean a cash card from your employer where they pay you directly to the card instead of a paycheck, then unless it has a visa/mastercard logo, you wont be able to use it on the internet but either way you will still need to keep track of your expenses.
