  1. Irv is on target.

    I have used very small pieces but I use my plate compactor.I do use recyled concrete as a perfered base,but that is crushed.You would be much safer for a lasting job to just dispose otherwise.

  2. absolutely.  No problems with that and a good place to get rid of it.

    If it's otherwise, you will have problems.

  5. sure thing.  just make sure the old stuff doesn't come all the way to the surface so water doesn't make its way into the new pour
