  1. It really depends on what you're trying to accomplish.

    Is the wall an interior or exterior wall? Is the soil above-grade or below-grade?

    What size is the hole...? If you wanna seal a small-ish hole it'll probably be fine.

    But if you're looking to provide structural "heft" behind a large expanse of wall... foam will work for a lil' while until the moisture from the soil creeps between the foam and the wall, rotting the wall from the outside in. Do you have a moisture barrier in place... do you know -where- a moisture barrier needs to be placed?

    What's to keep the soil from shifting, thus exposing the foam to the elements and breaking it down?

    To give a more definitive answer, we're gonna need a lil' more info.

  2. rhoda  what are you thinking   .... what wroung with  cement?

      foam sealant isnt desinged for  soil   contact

    it harbours bugs  ?
