Can i use instant messaging like aim in my BlackBerry curve without dataplan?

i have at&t as my carrier

and in my plan i have 700 min and unlimited text BUT NO DATA

is it possible to get AIM?

Depends on what sservice provider u have i have at&t. But in order to use that i have to have the pda/data plan which i do
