Can i use just a birth certificate to cross back to the U.S from mexico?

I don't have a passport, or my student i.d. and I'm going this weekend and I just took out my birth certificate today, it's all I have. Can I come back with that?

No You Only Are Require To Have A government-issued photo ID and a birth certificate.

no because you have to have a state id, birthcertificate, and your passport other wise they wont let you pass and you would have to stay there untill you have all those stuff so goodluck.

no the pass a new law saying u must have a pasport.

u used to be a ble to get back with that but since the new year started the rules have changed.

as of 01-31-08 your going to need i id form the gov to get back.  your school id may work but go to passports.com  and there your find a phone # to call  i just got back from there  but i had a passport .and  as of 02-08 you can get a pass port card for mex for only like 50.00 if you want to go back to mex  get one  and then your be good whit the card but for now go and call that # and ask then
