isit possible to have freevue with out connecting it to the outside ariel??

i live in a masenett so i have to share with the rest of the ppl who live in the building... if i was to connect it,it would take a lot of wires and that and would make a mess... the only way to conect it to main ariel is by down stairs and i want it for my upstairs...

soo what im trying too say is can i still use it upstairs with out the main ariel or does it have to be connected to the main ariel ??

  1. It really does depend on the reception ( signal strength) at the point you want to use it. Most loop antennas that come with old style portable TVs won't be good enough to get you Freeview, but try a decent indoor aerial, maybe one with adjustable boost in it, and see how you go. If not, you could always call in a local CAI registered aerial installer who will be happy to run a second feed from your downstairs point oin a tidy and professional manner.
