  1. It depends what you mean by shelter. If you mean the actual tank, then obviously no, but if its just as a hide inside the tank, I can't really see a problem with it, so long as you have disinfected all of the bricks beforehand.

Just make sure that you use large and wide bricks so that it doesn't accidentally swallow one. This may be a problem as it gets older and bigger. Also when you clean it, take it apart entirely and leave the bricks to soak in the disinfectant (obviously one thats suitable for reptiles).

However, there is another very cheap option, just wash out and cut a blunt edged hole in an old ice cream tub, or butter tub. I'd use one of the smaller butter tubs, so that it doesn't have too much space in there for it to get stressed.

Breaking off of the subject, I have actually build a low lyingg channel from lego to measure my corn snake, and I had no problems with it.

Anyway, thats enough said,  good luck with whatever you choose to do.

  2. you could but there too big of a chance that a piece would break off and your baby cornsnakewould swallow it

  3. Absolutely not!!

First of all corn snakes grow pretty big and are great climbers.

Second, you need a regular snake shelter from the pet store. Preferably with a heater.

But you can take the snake out of the cage every once and a while to play with it.

    Good luck

  4. You sure can. Just make sure they're clean and let your imagination run wild. There's no reason you have to run to a pet shop & spend $$$ on a piece of fake wood or stone when you can build a perfectly safe & effective shelter for your snake from materials you already have.

  5. no, go buy a shelter other wise your snake will probably die because you usually need to clean the shelter once a week

  6. yes you can. just make sure they're large blocks that stay together well. since they're plastic, they're easy to clean. just make sure you clean them off well before use.

i've used cleaned out cool whip tubs, cereal boxes, paper towel tubes and the like.

  7. it's better to just buy a shelter from your local pet store. i would NOT use Lego's.

  8. naw dude u cant be cheap with this u have to go buy a cave or log or something where he could hid.
