  1. Actually, You Can, a Router, Is Meant To Be Wireless, Usually Around Your Home Area, But That Depends, If You Have Lyn Sys, It Would Work Great As Long As You Use A High Speed Connection, and Has At Least 2 Antennas, If It Does Not Use It, the it would probably reach only in 3-5 Meters, If It Has 1 Then 5-10 Meters, If Its 2, 10-15 Meters, 3 (MAX) Probably a whole Block. I Also Heard If You Have a Very Luck, It Can Reach Up To 3 Street Blocks. Yea I Cant Believe It. Hope This Helps.

  2. Maybe...if your router is a Linksys also, check the manual for both of them (available online if you lost it) and see if they support "WDS" - that would let you do what you want.  What you want to do is called a "wireless bridge" as you apparently know already - going from one wired network to another via wireless.

Otherwise, you could get a wireless game adapter and wired switch/hub which would do what you are looking for - or just install USB wireless adapters on each computer so when you move them later they each have their own adapters alreday.
