Can i use micraphones pluged into a mixer board to a cd burner to record live music

i just want to record analog sound to cd and put it up on line for people to hear i would like to use a nice mixer great mics and a cd recording device i know that sounds nutso but i think recording exactly what i hear to cd w out cutting and paesting would be great thanx everyone for reading

probably. you'd need a mic though.

and a CD in a CD burner, obviously.
