  1. RAM is Random Access Memory while 4 GB is simple memory like hard disk.  As you can't use ur hard disk as RAM so is that you will never be able to use Pen Drive as RAM

  5. No you cant RAM is primary memory and pendrive is a secondary storage device.So the switching is not possible. :-)

  6. pen drives use flash memory to simulate a hard drive. It is technically possible to use a pen-drive for virtual memory, there are 2 reasons not to. 1st, pen drives are slower than hard drives, and 2nd flash memory has a limited number of write cycles, and if used for virtual memory, will burnout in less than a month.

  7. You can use your pendrive as extendable memory and not as RAM
