Can i use my Army awards on the Navy?

I was 11 B in the army, but now im joining the Navy. The question is can i use my Infantry Blue cord, my rifle + grenades medals, airborne tag and the other army ribbons?

  1. Your ribbons will carry over. You will have to find them on an Army base to buy them though. They can be mounted onto a Navy ribbon rack that conforms to the navy uniform regulations.

    The Blue cord and airborne tag are not authorized with Navy uniforms.

    I don't know what the rifle and grenade medals are, but I would guess no. Everything you wear has to be within Navy uniform regulations, so you might have to research that yourself 9your recruiter can do it for you). I have a friend that went Army to Navy a few years ago. He wears his Army ribbons on his ribbon rack and that is it.
