Can i use my GI bill to pay off my truck?

I already have my Masters degree and am not interested in going back to school. I just used the Air Force Tuitions Assistance. My wife has her Phd. and we have no kids or anyone to transfer it to. So i was wondering if i could use the GI bill to pay MY bills???

You can use your GI Bill for whatever you want. But it's not always good to do that. You shold put majority away to pay loans or whatever.

BUT, you are going to have to be enrolled in school to receive it. My husband and I were using his to get by on bills when we couldnt pay some.

But he was going to ITT Tech full time and reciveing the full time amount for your GI Bill.

Remember this, the GI Bill is a bearucracy and they can give and or take it away whenever they want, they can ever make you pay it back.

They did this to my husband and myself so many times.

You have a Masters Degree and your IN the military, and YOUR most likely have younger ones that your in charge of, and YOU DONT KNOW THE ANSWER?  Or how to research it?

Simply put, you get the GI Bill if your going to school.  If you are going to school, you can use that money for ANYTHING you want.  If your choice is to pay off your truck, so be it, but your going to have to be going to school!

tell your wife to get a fricken job...she has a Phd and you're wondering how to pay off your truck? dang...sad.. she should be makin at least $80K a year

no.  the GI bill can only be used if you are in college.

There are some classes at community colleges or online schools whose tuition is less than the what the GI Bill gives.

Take those, collect the bill save the extra. Unless you're like me and you're GI Bill is max 307 a month.
