Can i use my IRS number as my social security for financial aid?

i dont have a social security number but i have my IRS number but i need to have a social to apply for financial aid and i tryed but it dont let me what can i do?

  1. How don't you have a social? If you just don't know what it is go down to the court house it cost 5 dollars to get the number. Or to get a new one it's like 25 dollars. But you have to be a US citizen.
