  1. u can use it to take money out of the ATM but your bank will charge a small fee. i think the max they can charge u per trip is 6 euro but check it with your bank.. U can NOT  use it in shops the same as in ireland! ur visa will work in shops.

  2. No, because it's a debit card that interacts directly with your bank account so there are restrictions around using it - mostly that you can only use it in Ireland.

You might be able to use it in ATMs but check with your bank & see what UK banks they're hooked up to.  Individual banks have different rules about what you can, for instance with AIB you can use Irish cash cards to withdraw money in the UK (if you're with them, I would still check) but the Irish Bank of Ireland cash cards can't be used.

If you bank with either AIB or Bank of Ireland they have a limited number of branches in London & parts of the UK but they can be a nusiance to get to.

  3. the UK doesnt have laser cards! also laser cards dont have the security number on the back which really annoys me as i want to buy online but without that you cant and i dont want to get a credit card!!!

  4. UK?

    Do you mean England?

    No,

  5. no sorry, no such card over here, :(

  6. If it has the Mestro symbol yep. I used mine in a really remote part of Spain last week n it was fine. Ptherwise just go to Cirrus ATM's n take cash out there.

  7. Yes. Yes you can.
