  1. According to the card's official website: Maestro is MasterCard International's lead debit brand and offers over 540 million cardholders highly secure and convenient access to their current and deposit accounts in over 100 countries across the world including the Republic of Ireland.

  2. Yes, I used mine there last year.

  3. Yes. The Maestro system is linked to the Ireland-only "Laser" system. So anywhere you see Laser (virtually everywhere) advertised, you can use your Maestro card.

  4. You should be able to use it anywhere - my british exboyfriend used his in the US and it worked even tho we don't have Maestro we have VISA written on ours. It's the same symbol just called diffrently throughout the world. Most switch/debit cards and credit cards are used throughout the world they just change the names like everything else in the world. This is a pretty easy and versatile world we live in now but if you really want to be sure call your card company should have a number on the back!

  5. Yes you can, Ijust got back from Connemara and I used mine there.
