Check with your bank. I could use mine in Prague, Hungary, Italy, Spain, so why not Malta?

Hi, I'm Maltese, and I really don't think so! You can use your Visa/Mastercard though at most, if not all, shops.

If it's for cash withdrawals then yes, but you'll be charged for taking money out. Not much though. But if you're planning to pay for stuff with your card then no, it won't be accepted.
