Can i use my freezer as a fridge?

i have a side by side fridge/freezer and a deep freeze and i always seem to have to much freezer space and not enought fridge space. was wondering if i could just lo the temperture of my freezer and use it as a fridge. are there any problems with doing that?

    I think you mean you raise the temperature of the freezer.

  4. So you're talking about a seperate stand-alone freezer.

    My suggestion-try it.  Turn the thermostat up to it's warmest setting,  put a dial-type thermometer in it, let it sit for a day, and then see what temperature it stays at.  

    If you're lucky, it'll chug along at 34,  or as the (first answerer) said it might still stay at below 32.

    Since it IS a freezer, the thermostats' range is probably 10 to 30 degrees.
