  1. "START WITH YOURSELF"

When i was young and free and my imagination had no limits, I dreamed of changing the world. As I grew older and wiser, I discovered the world would not change, so I shortened my sights somewhat and decided to change only my country.

    But it, too, seemed immovable.

As Igrew into my twilight years, in one last desperate attempt, I settled for changing only my family, those closest to me, but alas, they would have none of it.

And now as I lie on my deathbed, I suddenly realize: If I had only changed my self first, then by example I would have changed my family.

From their inspiration and encouragement, I would then have been able to better my country and, who knows, I may have even changed the world.

"I don't know the key to success but the key to failure is trying to please everyone!"

    good luck

  2. You pay for automobile insurance to take care of the car if it gets in an accident.

If you happen to get into an accident you file an insurance claim. Most claims are paid directly to the body shop, not the individual.  Insurance companies aren't stupid enough to line you pockets with cash when they have other, more legitimate claims to pay.

If you don't spend the money fixing the car,  I think you've just committed insurance fraud.  You took money from your insurance company with no intention of using it for the purpose that it was intended.

Use the money wisely, fix your car, maintain the value of your investment.

  3. As long as you outright own the car... we dont care what the heck you use it for.

You are owed money for your damages regardless if you plan to fix your car or not.

So if you dont mind riding around with a big dent-  go ahead and get yourself something nice!

  4. You can use it whatever way you like.

But if you do NOT fix the car, the next time you get into an accident, the insurance will NOT cover those damaged parts.

    Good Luck...

  5. If you own the car outright, you can use the money for anything you'd like.  If there is a lender in the picture, you have to get it fixed.

Even if you own it outright, if you don't fix it and have another claim, they could deduct the previous damage that wasn't fixed.

  6. As far as i know, this is a question with many different answers,it is really depend on the judgement of yourself, provide a great resource here for reference though.http://car-insurance.easyideas4u.info/ca...

  7. You can use it for anything you want. I would suggest repairing the car or paying some bills of but be carefull because if you go hog wild with it they could come back on you and try to claim insurance fraud if you do not make an attempt to do one of the above.

  8. If they gave you a check, then it's as good as cash.  Go ahead and get crack with it.

However if they gave the check to your car place to fix your car, then you probably can't get the money.

Someone scratched my car and the insurance company gave me a check for $1100.  It's an old car and I decided to live with the scratch and keep the mo-nay.

  9. ask, that might work

  10. It's not fraud to use it as you wish, keep in mind though that your vehicle will have a VIN flag (carfax) that it was in an accident and never repaired. This will be used against the value if the vehicle is in another collosion or totalled and the insurance will deduct this from their payoff. You can use some of the money to repair the vehicle yourself and pocket the rest (depending on your skills) but you need to get the insurance adjuster to sign off on the repair to clear the VIN.
