  1. "Can" is a question of ability.  "May" is a question of permission.

    So "can" you "use a TV bought in Europe or Asia"?  Perhaps you have the ability to do so.  We have no way of assessing your skill level.

    As long as you remain in a country broadcasting the same standard to which the TV was built (probably DVB-T) it will probably work, too.  

    If you bring the set to North or South America or Japan, it won't work because they use different systems.
