Can i use my television as my computer screen???

i have a dell xps 420 with a HD drive.. i have a philips HD television so i didnt buy a HD computer screen..

can i play HD dvd's using my computer on my television..??

if yes how ...??? what wires do i need...

oh and i have an ati radeon video card if that hellps..

someone help me please....!!!

  1. Yes, you can.

    If your video card has HDMI out, simply buy an HDMI cable and connect it yo your TV (Which i am sure has HDMI)

    However if your video card does not have HDMI - I know all new ATI Radeon's have S-Video out. And you would need to look for an S-Video in on your tv
