Can i use my visa electron card in online purchase?

i would like to purchase an item on ebay and amazon.com using my visa electron card.

You can use an Electron card with Paypal for any eBay purchases, either by paying the seller directly through paypal without needing a paypal account. It works much in the same way you buy any online site, simply enter your card details and address etc, and the seller will receive the money through Paypal.

In the UK you can also verify a Paypal account with a Visa Electron card.

Never used Amazon myself, so can't comment on their payment methods.
