  1. Yes. Paypal is an independent company that can be used by any two registered individuals wishing to transfer funds.  I will warn you; however, that it normally takes up to a week for the transfer to take place.  If you know and trust the person you are sending money to, I would recommend considering a wire transfer service or sending an old-fashioned check.

The short answer is yes, you can use it anywhere.

  2. yes i think so,depending on the site and its rules and agreements

  3. Yes

  4. Yes but some places don't allow you to unless you can give a credit/debit card number, i.e they don't accept e-cheques.

  5. I have used paypal on loads of companys outside of ebay. Just be aware that anything over £500 is not covered by paypal insurance so use your credit card through paypal for added security. I spent £1400 on an lcd tv through paypal on ebay with my debit card, it never arrived :( and paypal sent me an email saying "sorry, here is £105 thanks" so £1295 down the drain :(

  6. I've heard there are some places you can use it but you'd need to look on the paypal website and check.
