We currently have carpet that after a heavy storm can stay wet for upwards of 5 days. I would love to put in flooring that i could easily dry off after a storm. I am working on a tight budget and thought that peel and stick tiles may be a good option for the short term. Any other cheap ideas would be much appreciated!

  1. If you live in a hot place yes

  2. This stuff is not much good anywhere. It sticks for a few months , then seems to loose its grip and the corners start turning up.

    Do not put it on a patio floor.

    I wish you had stated what kind of floor you have. Concrete?

    Plywood?

    If it is concrete or plywood (good condition plywood) I would use solid vinyl tile 1/8" thick. Put it down with an epoxy adhesive. It will last forever.

    Just make sure the subfloor or concrete is really clean and dry.

  3. depends on where you live. if you get freezes in the winter, it is likely to come up. if it a concrete floor underneath, why not just stain the concrete?

    edit;

    after reading your update, I wouldn't try it. your climate zone has way to much cold and rain for it to work.
